Dr. Cai is the doctor you want to have as your doctor. He is going to tell you what you need to do and will work hard to get your blood pressure regulated. He will be honest with you and doesn't sugar coat his treatment plan which I personally appreciate. I am old and not stupid. You won't regret going to him.

The only bad experience I've had at UTMB was with Dr. Naryanan. I had a loop recorder inserted, was told I would have a light sedative and that didn't happen. It did hurt and the manufacturers rep had to tell him part of it was out after said it was done. I was shocked and crushed that he never saw me before the procedure and I had to ask several times after to ask him about an upcoming mammogram. He barely stepped into the room and said it was not problem but I was so bruised I had to cancel it. I have been so happy with everyone else there!

I really enjoyed my visit with Dr Cai. He is very insightful and has really helped me with my heart issues. His advise basically saved my life and I really appreciate his candor about continued good health and what I need to do to live much longer

Dr. Cai is awesome! He answered all of my questions/concerns and has a great bedside manner. His office staff is very nice as well.
