Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center

This VA Hospital is unique in that it actually does the job it was designed to do. The treatment of wounded veterans which they do absolutely excellent. the staff is always on point and helpful the only draw back here is services are limited you get seen right away but some specialties arnt staffed requiring community referrals. that's where the ball falls most referrals are completed quickly some drag on. overall the treatment of injured veterans is excellent. being in the VA system over 20 years I've seen some horror stories ie; Hampton the worst VA hospital ever. if your in the treatment area of VAMC Amarillo you're in for a pleasant surprise.

09/22/22 - Had an appointment with the pulmonary clinic today. As with every time I've come to this VA hospital for care, I received nothing but the best care ever. The attitude of the staff - from the providers, to the support staff, from housekeeping to the people behind the grill in the canteen - has been positive, caring, and helpful. The love and compassion veterans get here is simply amazing, and it all starts at the top. VERDICT: ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CARE AND PEOPLE ANYWHERE. I WISH I COULD VOTE 10 STARS!

The Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center is a high quality medical center for our veterans. There is plenty of parking and easy to access the various buildings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The quality of service was great.

Been receiving great care there for years! They are my primary heathcare.
