Texas Tech Physicians: Pediatrics

Texas Tech is a very good hospital. I always get in quick to visit my doctor. I have no trouble. I have an awesome doctor. Awesome. My Wife is gonna be attending there with the doctor so we really like this hospital. I've been here several years. I've had the same doctor. He always meets my medical needs my house advising me about my health so I don't think I'm gonna leave our trade doctors right now.

The lack of resect for others' time and not seeing patients at their appointment time is a serious issue here. My kids had an appointment at 9:00 AM today. We arrived at 8:50 AM and filled out the forms. No one had shown up for the check-up after waiting for one hour. When we asked the staff when someone would see the kids, they first asked around to figure out who was supposed to attend to them. After about five minutes, we were told we had come "early" but we were only 10 minutes early, just enough time to complete the paperwork. When the kids started getting restless, another doctor finally showed up. She told us the delay was because other patients had arrived late, which completely contradicted what we were told earlier. Not to mention that they hardly book an appointment before 9 am. This is not the first time this has happened. Don't expect your kids to be seen on time here. It might work if you are jobless and have got nothing else to do.

Can't ever get an answer, say they open at 8 am but when you call at 8:15 am they are still closed? Worst freaking place for child care or any care at that! Their system is always down. Absolutely ridiculous for an entity this size to have so many problems . Im working of referrals out of here, idc if I gotta drive to Dallas.

Some of the best doctors but I wish they would answer the damn phones and not have you on hold forever
