Scheduling is a nightmare to begin with. You can't just call and schedule based on your availability. They will just pick an appointment for you and you better just hope you can make it because if not, then you can wait another month or 2 and try again. Out of the 3 or 4 appointments I've had here, I have not waited less than an HOUR (usually more). Just to get checked in at the front, you have to write your name down and then wait about 10 minutes before even proceeding to the waiting room. I am pregnant. A good portion of the people here are elderly. Your typical clientele at a cardiologist office are, in some way or another, medically fragile but yeah, let's keep them waiting for HOURS. And all of that aside, everyone here seems like they are absolutely miserable. From the front desk , to the nurses, the vibe is so depressing. They have clearly never heard of "bedside manner". And then the cherry on top is the condescending doctor. If I had any other choice, I wouldn't be coming here.

Extremely Disappointed with Northwest Physicians Group - Lake View Cardiology A referral was sent to this office almost three weeks ago for both my husband and myself to see a cardiologist. During that time, I called twice to follow up, left messages, and received absolutely no response. Not once did anyone return my call. Every time I tried to reach someone, it went straight to an automated system--no live person, no help, no urgency. My husband was experiencing chest pain and shortness of breath and needed to be seen ASAP. It's beyond frustrating that a cardiology office--where people go for serious heart-related concerns--would be this unresponsive and disorganized. We thankfully decided to go with a different cardiology group, and they were able to get my husband in the very next day. The contrast in care and professionalism was night and day. If you actually care about your heart health, do yourself a favor and go anywhere but Northwest Physicians Group - Lake View Cardiology. Your time--and your heart--is too important to waste here.

Bad scheduling. They open at 8am. I arrived at 8:05 am for simple blood draw.. Already 26 people checked in and waiting. Staff working as fast as possible and doing a great job. Also, waiting room like a meat locker. Way, way to cold. People complaining. Asked a nurse why they had it so cold. She said she didn't know and it was like that the day before also. Didn't seem concerned. Someone joked maybe they were preparing us for the morgue! Need to pay more attention to basic needs of patients and maintain facility conditions appropriately.

I love my cardiologist but since he went in with Northwest TX Hospital many procedures and tests are performed at the hospital. Which of course means hospital prices.

The scheduling has to improve. Sitting here at 12:25. Appointment was at 11:15. Was told there was still 12 in front of me. So it could be another 2 hours. I drive 3 hours to get here. I understand emergencies happen but there has to be a way to alert patients so wr know . It is very irritating to set here for hours. Plus they offer no explanation......
