I understand the frustration of waiting for doctors in their office for hours. But a good doctor is worth the wait in my opinion. I met the doctor in the emergency room when I had heart issues. I'm sure his schedule was full before that. In that emergency he moved quickly and his bedside manner was amazing. He understood & explained & his assistant was just as understanding.

Dr. Augostini has been my 88 year old mothers cardiologist for probably a decade and has gotten excellent care. I wanted to leave a review because I saw the one starred reviews while searching for his phone number. So I share my experience. The hospitalist at BSA prescribed a pacemaker a day after my mother's hip replacement..not at all expected but mom had fainted a few times. It was friday and Dr. Augostini's office was closed. I was texting my brothers and kind of stressing out because of the unknown doctor, the unexpected second surgery, and the closed clinic. But maybe an hour or so later Dr. Augostini's nurse came in , did a quick check and told us the doctor would be by shortly. And he was; he said he concurred with the hospitalist and explained how due to different factors/tests it was without doubt that a pacemaker was needed. The specialist on his team placed a pacemaker the next day (would have been the same day but mom had already eaten). Dr. Augostini deserves five stars next to his name...although I doubt he cares about google stars. It bothered me. He is caring, competent and was there when we needed him. And I thank him for living the life of a doctor for his patients' our family's benefit.

Been here 2 1/2 hours. Still waiting to see a DO. What does everyone think about that?
