While Dr. Kumar is great his office staff and telephone answering is horrible. I've been on hold over 30 minutes 2 different times to try to understand why no results get sent to my mother's retirement place on her Coumadin. Hire some staff!!!!

I felt like the doctor was in too big of a hurry to listen to what I had to say every time he would ask me a question he would cut me off in mid-sentence. I don't understand how he can know what is wrong with me if he does not take the time to listen to what I have to say there was not any test ran other than an EKG and that was only because I asked for it. I felt like Dr kamar Ramon was just in a hurry to get me out of his way. He might have spent a total of 3 minutes talking to me. Then told me to follow up with him as needed and wrote me a Year's prescription of blood pressure medicine. I was really disappointed because of the good reviews that I had read about him I thought that maybe I would finally get the answers I was needing. The receptionist was great and the nurses was great but that was the only good that I felt about the whole experience.

I was very disappointed in him and his ethics towards my dad. He did my dad's angiogram at CTMF in Tyler and just came out afterwards and stated "I couldn't do anything." When asked for reasoning or findings such as occlusions, arteriosclerosis, atherosclerosis, etc, he quickly shoved us off and left us with no answers stating " I've got another patient to get to." He spent Less than a minute in the post-op room post procedure and left us refusing to answer any questions. It got even worse at a follow up appointment. He comes in to the room in Palestine office and first thing he says is "I'm surprised you're still alive." I shoved it off kinda expecting something similar after horrendous ethics at last occurrence. My dad and I ask once again for a verbal or printed summary of angiogram findings. He quickly sidesteps it again saying there's nothing to explain since there's nothing he can do and quickly discharges for follow up in 12 months with no answers. If you want to be left with no answers, this is your doc. He always seems to be in a hurry with no due regard to the patients.

Everyone listened and treated me like a person, not a number. Dr. Kumar was kind and caring when hearing of my cancer treatment. We were finished with our visit before the appointment time.

Got some bad heart test results and was desperate to get a heart cath to clarify the problem. Dr Kumar was extremely responsive and performed the procedure the day after I asked for it. Very professional and understanding.
