As you can imagine being referred to a cardiologist after an ER visit is a scary feeling but HeartPlace Allen took that fear away from me and gave me more confidence in recovering from my setback. I've had three visits at HeartPlace Allen with Dr. Kumar, and the care has been consistently outstanding. What stands out most is his positive energy and proactive approach, he is highly attentive and he showed genuine concern for my care each time I followed up with him. He has excellent bedside manner, works with a clear sense of urgency, and addresses every concern with empathy and clear explanations. From the front desk to the clinical team, everyone was professional and kind. I left each visit feeling heard and confident in my treatment plan and cardiovascular health. I am very disappointed with having a physician not call me back re the results of my echo I had done 10 days earlier. The results were on the portal but it kept reading "physician not reviewed". I just wanted to know if I should be concerned because I of course didn't understand them. I am 79 years old and couldn't sleep because of the worry! I told the woman that on the phone aand she said she would send "an urgent message to Dr Chowdry. I never heard a word! To say the least, I will change cardiologist...

Have an upcoming appointment for my son and I hope they are more responsive than answering their phone. I have called or TRIED to call twice and waited 20-30 minutes each time and just hung up. Hire more people or even invest in an answering machine! This sets a very bad tone and the other reviews don't help you.

This review is for their front desk. I have called for two days and my husband has called previously with the same issue. They do not pick up their phone. We have been on hold for 45 minutes. I had an inquiry about my husband's appointment and I cannot reach anyone. We finally just give up. They used to pick up the phone. Please hire more people, or get a new system. This is extremely frustrating to your patients.

Referral from my PCP, I have tried multiple times to schedule, no one answers the phone. I found another cardiologist on my own, called in the morning, saw me that afternoon. Currently on hold for 20 minutes and counting. Will make sure my PCP knows not to refer if they are not able to answer the phone.
