I was having severe pain in my chest and it became very hard to breathe. The pain was at a level 9 and I have had 2 children and 3 major surgeries. They never monitored my oxygen level. I couldn't lay down (due to the feeling of being suffocated). The doctor never came in to check on me, nor did he ever examine me. He only came in to tell me that the X-ray results of my chest was normal and he was discharging me. He did not touch me at all or examine me at all. The nurse and doctor treated me as if I was faking everything. Needless to say I ended up at a different facility and the treatment was amazing!

★★★★★

Today, my experience at Sweetwater was truly phenomenal. Although I had to travel from Chattanooga for my daughter's procedure, I was thoroughly impressed by the level of care we received. Everyone we interacted with, from registration to discharge, was respectful, polite, and incredibly helpful. They addressed all my questions and provided comprehensive discharge and follow-up instructions. Overall, the service surpassed what I've experienced at Erlanger in Chattanooga. The room was spotless and in perfect condition. Thank you so much for the outstanding care!

AVOID ER ON NIGHT SHIFT! The doctor Algianon Jeffero implied I was faking my symptoms and I was verbally and physically harrassed by the him first and then a nurse who wasn't even over my care. I was having severe symptoms from an underlying medical disorder and was treated with utmost disrespect. I was talked about in a bad manner at the nurses desk. I was never even told about my test results before the doctor tried to discharge me. When I decided to leave before discharge, the doctor didn't even come in, he avoided me and just sent the nurse in. The nurse assigned to me, Donny, provided me with compassionate care and had good bedside manner. Radiology was friendly and professional. 1st floor has improved answering for their scheduling, but it is still hard to get appointments unless you schedule way out.

i hate to be one of those people that leave a bad review but enough is enough. my husband and i came into the ER at 7:00 am 09-25-25 due to myself having gallbladder attacks. i got to a bed fairly quickly but after i got into my bed i was lucky to see a nurse every few hours. i laid in my ER room in pain for 2 hours before a nurse came in to give me something for my pain. after my pain subsides they come in to take me for an ultrasound on my gallbladder to see if that was really the problem. i go have my ultrasound, come back to my room and don't see anyone for hours. when i finally do have someone come into my room they come to tell me that my gallbladder is full of stones and infected which means it needs to come out. they told me my surgery was scheduled at 2:00 pm. it is now 7:20pm that i am writing this and i still have not had my surgery nor have i received any information on when i am getting my surgery. i understand that things happen and other cases more urgent get moved up, but this is ridiculous to have been here for over 12 hours still waiting for a surgery i should have had 6 hours ago.

I had a appointment for 7:45am for a ultrasound. Radiology called me at home to confirm my appointment and ask me to be there by 7:15 am. It's 8:00am and I'm still sitting here waiting. I have ask the lady at the desk why, she responded with " they would get me as soon as they can" wow. I'm so angry! I also had a 9 am appointment that I will probably have to reschedule. This is not a first time bad experience with this hospital. No more I'm done. Just want to add the lady that did the ultrasound was rude and rough. When I ask her not to press so hard ( especially over my bones) she actually tried to tell me she had to lol I'm 66 yrs old and have NEVER known a ultrasound to be painful. Worst experience ever! I came here for convience when my gastro Dr ordered this from blunt hospital, I ask for sweetwater because I live in the same county as sweetwater. Next time I believe I will just travel. Blunt memorial has always been polite, respectful and professional. I don't like to do reviews unless I have a really horrible experience. Hopefully this might prevent someone else from experiencing this at a vulnerable time with their health. When your already sick the last thing you need is another human being who's suppose to have a little compassion because they are in the heath care field, treat you so rudely.
