LeConte Medical Center

My mom had a fall at our resort, and she got bloodied up pretty bad. We were told this facility was the closest, and being from out of town, you are always a little hesitant with what ER you end up. My mom is medically fragile, so I'm used to emergency room situations. This hospital was unlike ANY we've been too. They were so quick, so kind and they listened intently as I told them her medical history. Dr. Cain and Josh C, RN were amazing. Josh was the kindest nurse I've ever seen in a ER department. He treated her with kindness and respect, and he listened to me when I explained things. He was incredible and I hope you know how lucky you are to have him. I hope we never have a reason to visit the ER here again but if others need help, I would have zero hesitation suggesting here.

I was very apprehensive about having my left eye cataract surgery. The doctor and staff were amazing at keeping me calm. Dr. McDaniel, Kayleigh, Jennifer, Sharon, Angela, and Lisa were fantastic. I only hope to have the same crew for my right eye surgery in January. Merry Christmas Don Fair

I never leave reviews but this team definitely needs recognition. My mom broke her hip while on vacation with my brother in Sevierville. We live in North Mississippi, and didn't know what to do being 6 1/2 hours from home. We were really nervous about using LeConte Medical Center. I'm so glad we decided to have my mom transported here. We had the best experience!!! They treated her so well!! We are thankful for each and everyone we came in contact with, from the nurses, CNA's and staff, to the physical therapists. They made us feel at home. This hospital has the best staff around! Shot out to this amazing team! Eugene - Physical Therapy Kathy Becky - CNA's Olivia Jasmyne - hands down the best nurse around!! She was an absolute angel. I didn't get the night shift nurse's name but she was amazing too! So kind and loving!

I would prefer to leave out a lot of details about my experience but wanted to mention that even though my body and my baby were handling birth pretty poorly the team here took such good care of us. I ended up having a c-section. I was here for several days and everyone I met was so great. I had the pleasure of starting my journey with Dr.Love and ending it with Dr.Broady. Both of which were very communicative. I was really concerned about consenting to something I didnt understand well but they made sure I was well informed the entire time. Even making me laugh when I was so anxious I was a shaking and crying mess. The way they spoke about each other when the other was not around was also so appealing. It really showed how much they trust and respect each other and that was so reassuring for me. I also ended up meeting the entire anesthesia team during my stay and they too were so good to me. Talking me through things before they happen so I knew what to expect and while they were happening so I could follow along. They seemed genuinely caring and were very funny. It helped keep my spirits high and kept me focused when I was so anxious and emotional. After the C-section I had the pleasure of meeting a lot of nurses the next couple of days as they babied us. They were all so great honestly. Lizzy and Robin in particular made my stay and experience a million times easier. Lizzy went as far as helping me wipe blood off when it poured down my legs. Robin explained everything so in detail and so clearly that it made it so easy for me to understand things. They also checked on me so many times and even went as far as checking on my husband and teaching him about safe sleep and and how to swoddle and even showed us like 6 times how to rap the belly band which I really appreciated. The way they spoke about and to each other also was so uplifting. They were funny and sweet and so kind. There was even a house keeper named Barbara who checked on me several times because she was afraid I wasnt asking for enough help I can be hard headed. She was very kind. The nurse who took me down was also so helpful! I didnt catch her name but she showed my husband how to snap the carseat in place. He had no issues strapping it in but we couldn't seem to figure out to how to get it to click in. She was super patient and helpful. Over all the experience was super stressful and scarey and about nothing went the way I wanted it to but they made sure I was so well informed and took such good care of me and my son. The consistently good communication made even the scarey parts so much easier. I am really glad this is where we chose to have our son. I also have 3 friends who had thier babies here recently and they all had nothing but great things to say about the staff. I have another 2 friends having babies in the comming year. Ive already recommended this place to them

Always a pleasure getting care from the amazing teams at Leconte. Including the ladies at check-in, registration, gift shop and also the generous man at the desk who checked me in and took me to my room for my procedure! This visit I had a colonoscopy which I dreaded for a couple months (I had never had one before) but the staff made me feel so welcome and cared for! They were kind, fun and professional. I appreciate when a healthcare worker enjoys their job, the team that helped me was absolutely incredible. I will never forget how wonderful this procedure ended up being because of them! Quick, painless and honestly kind of relaxing. As odd as it sounds, I will be excited to come to a future colonoscopy. Lol Thank you to everyone I met, (excuse me if I misspell any names) but Joby CRNA, Liz RN, Kathy RN, Suzy RN, Crystal RN, Ann RN and Dr. Pollack.. you all made my day, I had such a great experience!! I will always recommend this hospital because of their outstanding care and positive attitudes :)
