My husband is a patient of Dr Muthusamy, He was scheduled to have a procedure done @ Tennova North, today 08/06/25. EVERYTIME he has a procedure scheduled through this office, the STAFF at this north office drops the ball. I have addressed this with this office many times. We have had the same insurance for over 5 yrs, my husband has had MULTIPLE procedures done and NEVER has there been issues with getting a prior approval until this office. Dr. Muthusamy has always been very attentive with appointments but as far as getting prior authorization, This place is nothing short of a joke! I have called the office numerous times with talking to 10 different people that all say, we will have someone call you back! NEVER do you get a return call even after leaving a message for the office manager. I even left a voicemail asking him to return my call and NOTHING! My husband and I both work full time jobs and had taken 3 PTO days off for this surgery! Someone in this office DID NOT do their job to get this prior approval done until the morning of surgery after sitting in admissions office for 2 hours! Everyone is apologizing but NO ONE is responsible for this action! This office staff is the VERY worse! No one is responsible for their jobs. Not sure what needs to be addressed but obviously there is a MAJOR issue at this office, even with the office manager Elliot that WILL NOT return your call!
