Dr Muthusamy is a very caring Heart Dr. Cares very much about my heart health and my health in general. He recently ordered a chemically induced stress test on my heart because I've been experiencing some pain in the heart area of my chest. He called me to come into his office yesterday so he could explain the results of the test in-person. I took my daughter and son inlaw with me and Dr Muthusamy was very courteous to them. He told us that there are possible blocked arteries on my heart that's causing the pain. So, he's ordering an exploratory procedure (can't think of the name right now) to find and unblock those arteries in the first week of January.

I was very impressed with Dr. Muthusamy. He was kind, thorough, very caring... Quite simply, delightful. Hence, my disappointment when I was advised at Checkout that they did not accept my insurance!! I feel I should have been advised of that at Check-in when they processed my $40 co-pay... Very disturbing.

Was not pleased with his attitude towards his patients. Spent more time concerned with the possibility that he was being recorded than his care to the patient. He made an assumption that he was being recorded. Was not being recorded, told him that and the visit went downhill from there. And to be honest in the state of Tennessee do not need permission to record. I informed him that if I was going to record the visit I would have asked. Only reason to record, had he checked, would have been because of the patient severity of dementia, the absence of his primary POA, and also his English is not the best. Also when he said that you aren't listing to me that pissed me off, not that I was not listening, I just could not understand his English.
Was not happy with his condescending attitud. Being that my brother is a disabled veteran and he is the one who I am concerned with, I will not be present whenever my brother sees him. Not a good visit, he needs to learn it is not about him and how he feels, but that he provides quality care to his patients.
