The receptionist was short spoken and kind of rude. Even when she was taking my vitals. Waiting too long, Dr was nice. The nurse in the back polite. That's why I gave a three star. Because to me the first person who you see should be the nicest to the person being seen by this Doctor. And not treated like they wish you had not shown up. Maybe my next appointment will be better.

I was called for my appointment in a timely fashion and treated kindly by the staff. Dr. Zurick was professional and thorough about discussing my file; he also answered the questions I asked and gave me the time I needed to complete them. I feel confident about how to follow-up on my care. It was a productive and pleasant appointment.

I reached out to Dr. Zurich thru his portal when I started having severe A-Fib and asked to change medication (or up the dosage). It took a week for someone in his office to respond. After waiting for 2 days, I called to see if he had received the message I sent in his portal. Yes, he did and so the receptionist suggested having my regular doc call to see what he recommended. She also marked the message as urgent and I finally received a response a few days after that. That's unacceptable. I've had the condition for years and I know when I'm experiencing really bad A-Fib. When I was admitted into the hospital, my heart rate was in rhythm for a brief time. He saw the monitor and began to insinuate that I wasn't really experiencing the heart palpitations. I've had 1 ablation and am about to have another. I am very familiar with MY heart and when something's wrong. A word for all heart patients: Stand up for yourself, don't be afraid to speak up when a doctor doesn't recognize your issues. Dr. Thompson (cardiac specialist) basically took over my case and I found myself having to brief Dr. Zurich on what Thompson's plans were for my care etc. Don't they have notes of what's going on with a patient? FYI - Dr. Thompson performed my first ablation and he will do my next one. He is EXCELLENT. Sorry this is so long, but I feel this is important for others to know. Final summary: Dr. Zurich is a little too lackadaisical for me.

I was referred to Dr. Zurick by my nurse practitioner since my heart skips a beat often. Dr. Zurick came to Lawrenceburg and this helps me a lot since I am 78 years old and did not want to drive to Nashville. He was very attentive and assured me that my heart health looked good but has me wearing a heart monitor for a week. Everything sounded good to me. The 30 minute wait was worth the report I received. I like and respect Dr. Zurick!
