Dr. Dantzler has great bedside manner and is a great Dr. To many but if you are elderly and are having problems I don't recommend. He has been my Dad's Dr. For several years and sees him once or twice a year. My Dad is 94 years old but walks everyday and does exercises, still mows his grass and weed eats. For a year or two he has had off and on high heart rate but the last couple of weeks they have gotten more often . The day of his appointment he actually had 3 episodes which leaves him almost passing out and weak all over. They put a 48 hour monitor on him. He continued to have them. He didn't mention taking any medicine that might take that heart rate down. Dad asked him to just get that down. He scheduled an echocardiogram for 2 and 1/2 weeks in the future! Don't expect any concern or proactive help. Honestly, I think he just saw 94 years and thought " not much we can do'." We realize he want live forever here on this world but at least act you are interested. With the help of my niece in Alabama who has worked as a Nurse Practioner for a cardiologist, we were able to get him on medication that has taken his heart rate down to normal!! Sad he couldn't have just suggested that!
