Where do we start? Dr Mac was available to my husbands'cardiologist request for immediate attention of my husband's cath scan. He immediately shuffled his schedule to get my husband in the next morning (Friday)for a consultation. He then said, while you are here, go do all your pre op stuff and be here at 530 am on Monday 11/4 for surgery. While we had just moved to Tn less than 6 mos to the date, we were still grasping who would do this triple bypass. With the consultation time he spent, explaining, each and every step so both my husband and I could understand the sense of urgency was top notch. He truly cares about his patients. He and his staff were at my bedside post op and beyond to ensure I had the proper recovery . I know the grace of God brought me this professional , and I am only here because of his quick action and skills. He is an excellent surgeon and human being ! I wanted to share, that when we were told on a Friday, that surgery needs to happen Monday, being new to the area, not having much time to search for a surgeon, our cardiologist referred Dr MacAlexander. Dr. McAlexander and his team are excellent. He performed bypass surgery on my mom's heart and I am so very thankful that she is here with us today. Her heart was a mess and they fixed it right up! I was referred to Dr McAlexander by my cardiologist , when I unexpectedly received a very high calcium score on my CT scan . The findings identified major and life threatening coronary artery heart disease which necessitated immediate consult . Dr. McAlexander prioritized seeing me in his busy schedule. He was very patient and humble in his approach to my situation and painstakingly answered my questions and alleviated my anxiety . He immediately scheduled me for a quadruple bypass surgery together with an aortic valve replacement . He and his staff were at my bedside post op and beyond to ensure I had the proper recovery . Such a good experience with Dr Mac. He did an amazing job with my dad's quadruple bypass surgery. He was high-risk in a few areas, but Dr Mac used excellent bedside manner to explain everything in detail and made sure we were all at peace. He takes time to answer questions and truly relate to the patient and family. Thankful he was there for my dad to (quite literally) save his life.

Cant say enough good things about dr Mac and his team. Did my bipass surgery after being done with surgerys for the day. Truly cares for his patients
