Patient Reviews

Dr. Weiss was a very rude person and does not create a good patient/provider relationship. Considering his main population is working with the elderly, he views hearing loss to be an inconvenience because he has to speak above his normal tone. I highly recommend patients to find a doctor that values client-centered care and treats you with respect.

Weiss- In my opinion, a Terrible cardiologists, saw my husband for months, then we went to UT, the records indicated this cardiologist had NO clue how sick my husband was. The doctors at UT said the were surprised at how sick my husband was because nothing in his record indicated that. Worst doctor I have ever met. Very rude in person when it is not being recorded, knows how to get away with it. Should not be around sick people in my opinion. Has no compassion. I recommend you go to UT worth 10 more minutes driving to save your life, you only have one. I wish someone had warned me.

Overall, pleased with this facility. So here's my story. I had a pulmonary embolism at 47. I was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension afterwards. My EKG and echocardiogram were normal, therefore I was discharged. A few weeks later I went to an event out of town and came home with shortness of breath so I drove myself to the ER. I had a blockage that was detected in my blood work. Dr Weiss inserted a stent. He was great at explaining things to me and I'm grateful to be alive. At 47, I went from extremely healthy to nearly dying. If I can stress a few pieces of advice to all patients reading this; following any heart event, participate in cardiac rehab. Also listen to your body. If you aren't getting answers you need, there's no shame going to an ER.

I was having odd chest pain. I called Dr Weiss's office and they got me in to see the doctor fairly quick. He scheduled me for a catherization and found three blockages. I ended up having bypass surgery. He may have saved my life as my family doctor was telling me I was having muscoskeletal pain. He seems knowledgeable and explains things well.
