After dealing with this office for 2 years, it's been both their office and my cardiologist Dr.Sadic. I thank the Lord that my artery stent was as far as I Know to this day, was a success at this point, Dr Sadic first said I didn't need a hear cath for now, I cancelled it, but my Dad knew best and said get it done, and of course, I needed one, stent put in immediately. This Dr. recommended me another BP med, then after all the follow ups, asked do I need to continue this med, he said " that's up to you", I'm not a heart doctor and he wanted me to make the medical decision. I was really deeply concerned. Now getting to their office, I hadn't called them in several months, but with an up coming major back surgery, I was low on that medication that was prescribed to me, reached out, of course straight to VM, their business office is still using the old NP's VM, she is not with him anymore! My pharmacy reached out to them 2 times, no response up to today. I finally reached out to my PCP, had prescription filled and ready to be picked up in minutes. After all this, I will be dropping them and going to another heart group. My recommendation is to stay away from Easter Tennessee Cardiologist of East Tennessee, just look at all the reviews, their low numbers is not a coincidence. Update, as anyone can see, there really isn't any concerns in this office when one of their clients issue a bad review, a system generated response, same wording, here's our number. Who ever owns this practice, if clients are bringing up concerns, and a low review average keeps getting lower, I would have someone reach out to discuss the negative review. David B

I absolutely share the same sentiment as many have in these reviews. I lost my daughter due to extreme preterm labor in December 2025, and another pregnancy due to miscarriage this past spring. I had been having heart palpitations during both pregnancies and severe cardiac disease runs in my family, and so wanted to get tested. I wore a holter monitor for 48hrs and they saw nothing-- but when I was in the ER experiencig my second loss, I'd feel the palpitation and then see a PVC thrown up on the EKG monitor (I'm a veterinarian, and so I'm trained a little in cardio). So I had to push for more diagnostics. Echo normal. Then a longer holster monitor -- 30 days is how long I wore it -- all for when I come back for my recheck appt, the receptionist forgot to check me in (so I waited an hour before being seen, even though I was 20 min early), and the doctor to not remember who I am or my history or what tests he ordered on me (Dr. Sadic). He didn't remember my pregnancy losses or my family history. He said "you need to send in the holter monitor for us to view" and I said that didn't seem to be true based on the packaging. After I press further, he finally steps out for maybe 1-2 min, and returns to say "actually, I did read yours late on Friday, and you have SVTs." He downplayed it, said the longest run was 4 seconds and that at least it wasn't a fatal arrhythmia. But also, SVTs are typically seen with prolonged tachycardia... My typical resting heartrate is 45-55 bpm. But even if it is SVTs, I read peer-reviewed litature afterwards about how there are significant negative outcomes related to SVTs, such as preterm labor and c-sections.... But then when I ask for an internal second opinion, the operator says that is against their policy and that they wouldn't do a referral from there, and also you can't see two cardiologists at the same time, because that's also against policy. I asked for the holter monitor report to be sent to me electronically, and they said they had "no access to email." -- which is also wild. TLDR, this is a practice that is NOT concerned with accurate diagnosis of your cardiac condition. They are a volume practice, not a quality practice -- I'm personally going to be leaving to look elsewhere. I hope you do too.

★★★★★

The staff was courteous and efficient. The doctors' PA, Martha, took good care of me and answered questions I had. Dr Brooks was thorough in explaining what was necessary for me to know. Both were kind and reassuring. Over all, I had a good experience. I highly recommend them.

They made unnecessary delays. I made an appointment with a doctor, sent a PA/ someone less technical

Very unhappy with this group right now.! My husband has been a patient for many years here. He has received good basic care until recently. I don't know what's going on except they told us his cardiologist Dr Mitchell Weiss is on indefinite leave and his assistant we have been seeing in athens is no longer with his group? We asked to be changed to a different group and had to fill out a form and then was denied. :( our last visit was very "uncomfortable" like no one knew what was going on, very odd. Then Friday my husband had a serious episode while on his way to his PCP who called 911 and had him taken to the er by ambulance. After HOURS in the er we were denied by ParkWest to be transferred there to be seen by his doctors! Then later (midnight) they sent us home with no answers! I'm done. So unprofessional to leave your clients hanging and in the dark!
