Dr. Tracy Callister formed Tennessee Heart in Hendersonville in 1984 and has provided cardiac care to many Nashville-area hospitals during that time. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Callister treats a wide range of heart diseases and disorders, including angina pectoris, arrhythmias, hypertension and pulmonary embolisms. He is internationally recognized as a leader in the field of computerized tomography (CT), having been trained well beyond the ACC requirements for all levels. Dr. Callister speaks fluent Swedish, Danish and Finnish. He accepts telehealth appointments.

I met Dr Callister in the late 90's while working as a Paramedic. I was floored with his cast knowledge in Cardiology. Fast forward to 2018. He's now my cardiologist. I have pulmonary htn and right side heart failure. He has such a genuine heart for his patients. Since 2018, he almost has me off oxygen and has weaned me from several medications. Certainly in the top 5 in my book!

I have been with this office for a lot of years. They have always taken good care of me. Dr. Callister is very tentative to not just my cardiac needs but follows most of my medical issues. I have a team of doctors and and he always want to be in the loop. That means a lot to me as a patient as I have a lot going on thank you Dr Callister for being one of those doctors that goes over and beyond.
