Dr. Martin took time, post-op, with my 83-year-old dad. He spoke directly to him in a straightforward manner and with compassion. After surgery, he came into the waiting room to speak with me personally and it was very reassuring. He has compassion, skill and empathy. Wonderful traits for a thoracic surgeon. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Martin performed surgery to replace my Aortic valve in 2018. He is a wonderful, compassionate, and talented surgeon. They told me I would be in ICU for three days then another three to five on a regular floor. In three days, I went home. Recently, I had back surgery, and the physician's performed all sorts of tests and MRI's on me. After surgery, a group of physicians huddled around my bed and asked who did my valve replacement. I told them Dr. Martin at Parkridge. They remarked that he did a wonderful job. I assume that my tests looked fantastic.
HE IS A FANTASTIC PERSON AS WELL AS A DR. HE DEFINITELY TOOK CARE OF ME LAST YEAR FROM JANUARY 28 TO FEBRUARY 5. I RECOMMEND HIM TO EVERYONE WHO WILL HAVE TO HAVE SURGERY PERTAING TO YOUR HEART.
