Bad Experience at Fortune Ford Service Centre - Azamabad Today, I am sharing a very disappointing and frustrating experience with Fortune Ford Service Centre - Azamabad. I required gearbox parts for my Ford vehicle -- parts that are extremely rare and difficult to source anywhere in India. After checking with multiple Ford authorized service centres across Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh, and outside local shops from all southern states. I was informed that the only centre showing availability was Fortune Ford, Azamabad. As I am from Kerala, I asked a colleague from my MNC (who is based in Hyderabad) to personally visit the centre to collect the parts. Shockingly, he was denied and was told that counter sales were stopped. The next day, another colleague from a different MNC -- this time a local resident of Hyderabad -- also visited to enquire about the parts. He too was refused, and the staff informed him that the parts would only be provided if we paid a service charge of 6500 + GST, even though we only required the spare parts and did not request any service. To verify this, I contacted Motorcraft (Ford's official parts supplier) and Ford customer support. Both confirmed the following clearly: If a customer cannot get a rare part anywhere else, the service centre MUST provide it, including via counter sales. They also stated that such refusal goes against Ford's policy and advised me to take legal action if the centre continues to deny the parts. This entire experience has caused unnecessary delay, stress, and financial burden -- all because the service centre refused to provide parts that are critical and exclusively available at their location. Since they refused to cooperate, I was left with no choice but to order the parts from Malta, which will now take 10 days to arrive. Overall, this has been an extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience, and I genuinely hope Ford India takes corrective action against such practices.
