They promised my daughter was going to live, long recovery, but she would live, that night she died, I can never forgive this hospital. It had been over a yr. And I have heard from this hospital 2, when they want something. I have never gotten a apology from the doctor who lied, or a good explanation.. I am telling you, if you take your child here, they will lie, promise, and as soon as they figure you can handle it better, they will hit you up for a organ donation, and it will never get better.

Wonderful building in general for kids! But the care is amazing to match it! I took my son here for many appointments to check up on his kidneys as a newborn and up and they always did amazing making him feel comfortable and happy while in the check ups and X-rays! I also took my daughter here for a sedated hearing test and she was so excited to go! It's a castle was all she could keep talking about while there and they did a great job with her for her whole test! Always will recommend for child hospital care

My grandson was born 3 days ago and is in the nicu. I called this evening to ask the nurse to kindly place his hand inside his blanket because this morning the Physical Therapist stressed the importance of him being saddled to prevent tugging at his tubes. The receptionist thought it was a good idea to tell me that babies move all the time and there can't be an influx of calls regarding what I see on camera. She said all this before I finished my sentence of his hands being on his tubes. She said 3 times that there can't be an influx of calls and I let her know that this was my first time calling. When I told her this was my first time calling she said "I'm just letting you know we can't have an influx of calls regarding the baby moving on camera, babies move all the time, it's good for their growth and development" There was no sympathy or concern from her. The fact that she thought she should comment on my grandsons well being before I finished my sentence is beyond me. Parents and families are going through a very hard time dealing with their loved ones being in the nicu, we are afraid and concerned, a little compassion goes a long way. She assured me that his nurse was taking great care of him but I never said that she wasn't nor did I think she wasn't. I understand that the nurse can't have eyes on him 24/7 so I'm not sure why the receptionist was so defensive. After the call the nurse swaddled him, if my call was so unnecessary then she wouldn't have swaddled him. Thank god my grandson didn't tug too hard on his tubes while I was being lectured about calling too much from a receptionist who has nothing to do with his care. Thank god she isn't involved with his care. My experience with the receptionists in the nicu hasn't been the greatest. I have come into contact with 4 of them and ONE of them was awesome and respectful. The labor/delivery team has been exceptional and I thank them for taking great care of my daughter and grandson.

The hospital here is fantastic. You can tell that the staff cares. Everyone from the admins to the surgical staff work to make you feel comfortable. Plus the castle theme is awesome. The kids like it and it seems to put them at ease. In addition, it's attached to the rest of the hospital so it's easy to get everything in one place. I've recommended this hospital in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
