Absolutely horrific visit. My daughter had been diagnosed and treated, as well as myself, with a great team in Floridian for our long COVID conditions. One of the most detrimental conditions is our hearts. My daughter is tiny and small and it is very important we get her heart back healthy, and under control. From the very beginning he was combative telling us it was not from Covid. That everyone has tachycardia. My daughter tried to explain it's also her lungs along with her heart, and he again tried to gaslight that it is not from Covid. Anytime I tried to speak he talked over me. My daughter said he didn't give me a "chance to speak at all." I said all I want is help for my daughter's heart. I got up and I asked for a doctor who works closely with long covid patients. He questioned my credentials so I stayed I completed nursing school. He then asked how I would treat this patient. I said you're challenging me. I am here desperately seeking help for my daughters heart and your ego is so big all you can think to do is talk over us, gaslight us, and now challenge me. I said I will find care elsewhere and we left. My daughter is upset and she does not have any answers still. This is one year that they have left us with no help. We will be flying back and forth to Florida for treatment. The medical negligence we have experienced with Sanford from February 2024 until today October 2025, is horrific. One left me paralyzed for 20 days. This doctor needs to find compassion and kindness and do not gaslight. I already stated her diagnoses being pots, and tachycardia brought on by Covid. Her heart as we explained had been a huge problem with dizzy spells, left arm tingling, and pain in her heart since 2023. He was too worried about being the only educated one than listening to a child's needs. I'm beyond upset and disappointed. He also lied in the report on what happened in that room that I had anxiety and was aggressive. Nothing angered me until he kept gaslighting it wasn't Covid and talking over my daughter and myself never letting us get a full sentence out. Which I then requested a doctor who specializes in long covid. Since he wanted to then question my credentials, I then put my jacket on and said I'm leaving. Zero compassion, instead making my daughter feel she wasn't cared for and didn't have a voice. As soon as we walked out she said "why wouldn't he listen to me. Why did he just want to argue?" Never go here.
