Dr. Himadri H. Dasgupta, MD

It is unfortunate when a good doctor loved by all his patients gets a review like the previous one which is completely irrelevant. Dr. Dasgupta stopped going to Lexington Hospital since 2015. She could have been's his patient before but what she is rambling about has nothing to do with Dr. Dasgupta and/or his office. He was completely unaware of the situation. The nurse she is talking about Diane is extremely professional and what Diane was trying to explain was that their office couldn't just jump in and advise or treat her without seeing her. Since she was under the care of some other doctor at Lexington she needed to contact their office. It is hilarious, unfortunate and misleading to find a review that has no relevance with him as a doctor.

First of all Dr. Dascupta is my heart doctor. I was in Lexington hospital for four days a few years ago and was given too much fluid which caused me to go into congestive heart failure. The reason for my call to his office today was because I had a procedure 4 days ago and was having some of the same symptoms I had before when I was in congestive heart failure and was referred to Dr. Dascupta . I spoke to a nurse named Diane. I was trying to explain to her my symptoms today and she kept interrupting me wanting to know why I thought I should call this office when they hadn't done a procedure on me. When I finally got her to listen she said that Dr. Dascupta could not see another patient today that if I wanted to take an extra fluid pill of Lasix that I could. She said if I felt like my weight was up or blood pressure was up that I was only taking 20 milligrams that if I wanted to I could just take another 20 milligrams. She kept interrupting me asking why I thought I should call this office when they hadn't done anything to me. I asked her if she would ask the doctor to call me and she said he wouldn't do that. Well if my doctor refuses to return a phone call to me then apparently I am not very important to him as a patient. I asked her what her name was that I was going to hold her accountable if something happened to me and she proceeded to tell me I couldn't do that. She was rude and the only advise she could give me was take an extra Lasix because I could not be seen today. When I asked was she telling me my heart doctor would not call me back she said no he wouldn't do that. She acted like she couldn't believe I called my heart doctor when I thought I was having a heart problem. Shelby Warren
