Husband saw a NP today for a follow up on surgery performed on 1/29. She asked if his hips or anything in that area was causing any pain. We had to tell her the surgery was performed by going through his back not the artery. Then she wanted to see the area in his back and could not even lift up his shirt. She told me to do it! We then told her about his blood pressure being high she said nothing to do with the surgery and to see his GP. She also, asked if I was writing it down every day. Wonder why this place is called Lex Heart and Vascular. Terrible bed side manner, or she was having a very bad day

At most doctors' offices and hospitals, I encounter office staff who are, at best, indifferent towards patients and, more often, outright rude to patients. My experience with Jessica, who answered the phone, Joy who returned my call, Preston my nurse, and Dr. Garrett Ruth give me hope for customer service in medical care. This team demonstrates actual patient care and kindness. What a refreshing experience! Dr. Ruth even remembered a non- medical conversation we had 4 months ago. It's nice to be treated as a human versus another heads of cattle mucking up their day. Great job Jessica, Joy, Preston, and Dr. Ruth!

Dr. Simon is absolutely AWESOME!! I can't say enough kind things about him!! He has been so gentle and kind with my health issues and really talks to you about what's going on and also talked to my daughter about my issues making sure she and I both understood. He's such a great Dr!

Extremely busy practice, however when urgent they get you in for an appointment and schedule testing as quickly as possible.
