The staff is very kind, professional, and efficient. Dr. Bruce Bourdon did a phenomenal job with our 3 month old daughter who had a hair tourniquet on her toe and performed the removal procedure perfectly. When reassessed at Children's hospital later that day, multiple doctors agreed that he did an excellent job. There was no wait to get her checked in and seen by staff.

Great place. Our 3 year old had an accident that needed ER attention on Halloween night. The doctors and nurses were amazing. We missed trick or treating but they took such good care of him. Thank you from the Pruitt family for all your kindness and patience.

I am submitting this statement to document my experience with Dr. Richardson during my visit on 12/5/2025
Upon entering the room, Dr. Richardson asked why I was there and how I had undergone major reconstructive ankle surgery the previous day. After I responded that my toes felt somewhat numb due to the nerve block wearing off, he rolled his eyes, which I found dismissive and unprofessional. I immediately addressed this behavior, expressing that I felt disrespected.
Despite my repeated requests for him to proceed carefully, he removed my soft cast forcefully and handled my leg roughly, causing significant discomfort. The nursing staff present appeared taken aback by his demeanor and approach. When it came time to rewrap the cast, I chose to have the nurse complete it due to these concerns.
Before leaving the room, Dr. Richardson stated that he contacted my surgeon's office and commented that they "wouldn't even show up" for me, which was delivered in a rude and unprofessional tone.
This encounter left me distressed and dissatisfied with the level of care and respect I received. It was uncalled for and I believe if you can't be compassionate in that line of work then it must not be for you.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Nurses are great. Front desk person was dismissive at best. The whole visit seemed awkward from the time the Dr came in to the time I was discharged. I don't feel like my issues were taken seriously at all and viewing what was documented as discussed at discharge..... I don't know what room he was in, but that conversation went much differently. I would not recommend coming here if you have any real concerns at all about your health or honestly your life.
People who enter into this emergency room should know that the doctors who work there do not work for the hospital and you will get a ridiculously high freaking bill for their care or rather their lack of care. You do not get billed for services rendered for your health, you get billed based on your symptoms, walking in the door. This hospital is not a hospital for helping people. It is a business and they are only out for money.

Unfortunately, I had to go to the ER on Wednesday night because I was in excruciating pain and the nurse Kelly on 3rd shift took great care of me. Her bedside manners were outstanding and she listened to me tell her about my pain then she immediately made contact with the doctor on call and told him and I was given some meds for my pain and the doctor did quite a few test. Kelly was in and out of my room frequently checking on me and asking how I was feeling. Kelly really cares about her patients and it shows. Due to the kind of meds I was given she had to assist me to the restroom because I couldn't walk on my own. She was extremely patient and kind the entire time. Oh, when she gave me my meds through the IV she was so gentle and precise. I'm so grateful for Kelly - She is a godsend.
