MEDcare Urgent Care - North Myrtle Beach

Having to go to an urgent care when you are on vacation is never a good situation. I found MEDcare using Google. I was able to select an appointment time on that day and completed all forms before arriving. I was greeted by a wonderful front desk worker who was friendly and very efficient. When I was taken to the back the nurse was very knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Carrie was excellent with her bedside manner and professionalism. My medications were sent to a pharmacy that stayed open later, as it was Sunday late afternoon. The front desk rep wrote down the address of the pharmacy for me. I would definitely recommend this urgent care to others.

I was greeted warmly by the kind receptionist. After entering my information into their system, I was escorted back to see a Nurse Practitioner. She diagnosed my symptoms within minutes, prescribed the correct antibiotics, and answered all of my questions with professionalism and compassion. She even wrote me a referral to a specialist in case I wanted additional treatment / consultation. In roughly 90 minutes, I arrived at MedCare, was seen by their team, prescribed meds, picked them up, and was back resting comfortably in my home. This place executes at a high level! I hope that I don't need to return any time soon. But if you need an urgent care facility on the north end of the beach, I'd highly recommend the professionals at MEDcare.

--- ### Fantastic, Compassionate Care at MEDcare! The care I received at MEDcare Urgent Care was truly **exceptional**. The entire staff, from the moment I walked in, was compassionate and attentive. The check-in process was so easy, thanks to **Louise and Roxanne** at reception; they were both welcoming and efficient. **Cori the nurse** was gentle and quickly put me at ease. **Dr. Carla Norris** had a wonderful bedside manner--she took the time to listen to my symptoms and was very reassuring, clearly explaining my treatment plan. I was also seen by **Jasmine, the future doctor in training**, who was professional and knowledgeable. Thank you to everyone for making an urgent visit a **positive experience**! It's clear this whole team genuinely cares about their patients. I am not sure how the company recognizes their wonderful staff but whatever it is it needs to be 10 times the normal recognition. I have never felt so cared for by a medical team and I will drive 3 and one half hours anytime I need any type of medical care and visit this location. God was definitely watching over me yesterday and definitely sent the angles at this urgent care to care for me. Thank you all so much and God bless each one of you! I forgot to mention how affordable this location is also especially being a self pay person. They have an X-ray and pharmacy at this location which is affordable and convenient. ---

I had an excellent experience at MEDcare Urgent Care! The entire staff was professional, caring, and respectful of my time. The Nurse Practitioner truly listened to all of my concerns and took the time to address each one thoroughly. I used my VA Community Care for this visit, and she made sure everything was handled smoothly and that I was well taken care of. Everyone there went above and beyond. I'd choose MEDcare Urgent Care over any other urgent care in the area -- highly recommend!

I received excellent care from the moment I walked in the door. The front desk personnel was very nice. Teresa who took my vitals & information was very patient, caring and understanding. The PA, Emily was very personable and efficient in her diagnosis. She explained everything exceptionally. Anthony who wrote up the final details for the visit was very nice also. I also received "Hope you feel better" wishes from several of the staff before leaving the office. Exactly the kind of care you want to receive, especially when you're feeling unwell and in an unfamiliar area.
