Jason Goebel, MD, received his medical degree from Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. He completed his internship and residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Goebel achieved his fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.

From the pre-surgery consultation to the recovery room Dr. Goebel and his team put me at ease, answering all my questions instilling confidence in their work. Dr. Gobebels beside manner is amazing as well as his ability to explain everything involved from beginning to end including convalescence time in a way that was very easy to understand for me. I highly recommend him to people that I know even this soon after the procedure. He's a great surgeon as well as a great person.
Dr Gobel treats you as if you are his only patient. A time for assuring me all looked well with St Jude report, quick physical exam, and assurance that a 1 year visit is now allowed. I feel like I have gone from kindergarten to graduation at 78 and that gives me the ability to live an abundant life! Thanks to the WHOLE TEAM!
Dr. Jason Goebel has been my electrophysiologist since 2015. I'm on my 2nd pacemaker he installed, and it's ticking along perfectly. (...I am happy to say.) This past week I saw him for a consult to determine if I needed, or was well suited to have a device installed in my heart. He actually brought the device with him, and not only explained how it worked, and let me see it, but illustrated how the procedure would be performed. He was so very thorough, and talked about the pros, and cons, regarding this device and how it pertains to my specific health history. He introduced me to "the MOM rule", and follows that stringently. (You'll have to ask him about that when you see him.) He is a wonderful doctor. Yes...knowledgeable, compassionate, kind, and very experienced, with a super nice bedside manner. I'm happy to be his patient. And his whole staff is the same - including the receptionists, nurses, and technicians. They all try their best to make you feel welcome and at ease. Kudos to the good doctor, and his staff.
Dr Goebel has been my doctor for a number of years and I think he is the best. He always takes time to listen to what you have to say. He has performed 3 procedures on me over the last 9 years and I couldn't be more satisfied with his work.
The man and his staff are incredible. His staff is attentive and caring and he is knowledgeable, calming and a master with the blade. He implanted an ICD the scar was impeccably tight so almost non existent. My pain was so minimal and bruising was almost invisible. I recommend him highly. He is a true master
