About Dr. Matthew B. O'Steen, MD
Dr. Matthew O'Steen is from Blackshear, Georgia and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia before going on to Mercer University for his medical degree. He then completed his residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. After Emory he attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas completing a fellowship in Cardiology. Dr. O'Steen specializes in general and Interventional Cardiology with a focus on peripheral vascular disease and structural heart disease. The new challenges encountered each day and his joy of helping people is what motivates him. Dr. O'Steen is an avid salt water fisherman and hunter and enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
