Originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Chris Armstrong, MD, followed in his grandfather's footsteps to be a cardiologist. He appreciates being able to develop a relationship with his patients, listens to them carefully, and works with them to develop a plan of care. When he's not at work, he loves to spend time outdoors - hiking, trail running, kayaking and gardening.

Dr. Armstrong is one of the best providers I have had in the Prisma system. He is kind, respectful, knowledgeable, and he actually listens to your concerns. His behavior is also modeled by his staff. I would give more stars if I could. It isn't often within the Prisma system to find such a provider or support staff. If you want to know you, or your loved one is receiving the best care, see him.
