Adam Barnett, MD, is a cardiac electrophysiologist specializing in catheter ablation, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation and the overall management of arrhythmias. Dr. Barnett received his medical degree from Duke University and went on to complete an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship also at Duke University. He then completed an additional two-year fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Duke University. If I could give any star: I choose no stars. This is possibly one of the worst physicians I have ever seen. Believe me, when I say, I have seen some really bad providers.
As a provider and a patient I have spent thirty years in this profession. You hold a patient's life in your hand and your heart, in the smallest and largest sense.
We all have bad days, we are all overwhelmed by healthcare. I don't know what was happening when I saw this practitioner, but he displayed an incredible lack of concern or empathy for me as a patient.
I called my insurance company and said, "this provider should not be paid for his services."
Save your money, save your time, save your right to be treated with dignity, care, and respect. Choose another provider.
Don't bother with your canned reply, they look to be all the same with only the name changed. How apropos.
