Dr Bourji is the first male cardiologist to actually listen to me and not just tell me to lose some weight so I can breathe easier. He immediately had me in for testing last fall starting with the day of my visit. I had 3 very blocked arteries and I was in danger of a life threatening heart attack at any time. He listened!! He did not dismiss me!! As a woman I find we have to fiercely advocate for good medical care. Male doctors especially don't listen and it is so frustrating. Dr. Bourji is different. He listens. He answers my list of questions. I always leave my appointments feeling like he truly cares about me as a human being. I am never made to feel like I am just a number in an overworked system.

This is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever been to. He has dug very deep into all of my symptoms and came up with a treatment plan that has been nothing but superior. He has done more for me in 2 visits than another area hospital cardiologist has ever dreamed of. Although I do have some blockages, they are not serious enough for stents but are concerning enough to begin extensive treatment and Dr. Bourji immediately started a treatment plan that I'm sure will work for me. He has never been in a hurry when talking with my wife and I and treats me like a life long friend and not another patient walking through his practice. That makes all the difference in the world!
