My dad is 66 and has COPD, congestive heart failure, on oxygen 24/7, had open heart surgery in 2016,along with other health conditions. He has been dr Awans patient for over 5 years. I believe it was June my dad had a heart attack. The doctor changed his heart medication and sent him home with a heart monitor Within the next 7 weeks my dad had 4 more heart attacks each time the doctor changed his medication and then my dad had another heart attack. After the 5th heart attack my sister and I finally talked our dad into going to Saint Francis hospital in Greenville. They kept him for a few days and ran a lot of tests. They also did a heart cath. Because Dr Awan didn't want to run some tests and just changed his medication, Saint Francis hospital told us that he has a blockage but when they did the heart cath he needed a stint but the damage from the 5 heart attacks was too bad and there is nothing they can do. A man at my dad's church told us that Dr Awan did the same thing to him. This doctor is incompetent and does not need to have a medical license.
