Visit was short and simple. EKG, then Doctor reviewed it, checked my vitals, requested I get blood work, and sent me on my way. Very efficient and very little waiting time.

I went to this doctor because my family doctor said I had heart failure. I then went to another cardiologist who said my heart looked good. No heart failure. Ok....someone is wrong. So, I went to doctor Woodfield for a second opinion. I have to say, I have NEVER been treated so horribly by a doctor. I was speaking and he motioned for me to stop talking. RUDE!!!! I had an echo, a stress test, and an MRI. His nurse called me and said there was nothing worrisome. Now, a year later, on November 14th, I was taken to Summerville Medical Center, then transferred to Trident. I had an echo, then the cath lab. Diagnosis was heart attack...heart failure, andTakotsubo Cardiomyopothy. I feel like someone dropped the ball. I don't know who.I find out December 12th, what stage heart failure I am in. I would never direct anyone to Dr. Woodfield. Never!!!

I had an incredible 1st visit and everyone treated me like I was important. You don't get that at many doctors. Dr. Woodfield was very personable and got the ball rolling on tests I needed. Now to get the heart monitor!
