Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Cardiac Surgery

I had two appointments. The first was an ultrasound. All personnel were welcoming and professional. They were intent on caring for me the patient. I couldn't have desired more! My second appointment was much different. It was a CT scan. The phlebotomist was notified I was there. She came out and looked at me. Then mumbled under her breath "wonderful" loud enough for me to hear it. She took me to the cubicle to inset an iv. It was very painful. I drummed my fingers continuously to avoid thinking of the pain. I went to the ct machine the worker did not even acknowledge my presence. One of them told me to do what the machine says. After the worker looked at me and said I can only take you to the door. I didn't know what she was referring to. I told her I needed to get back to the registration area. She did comply

Had a great experience at Roper St Francis Charleston this past week. Saw my surgeon and one of his assistants as well as had an ultrasound by the sweetest person.

Everyone seems highly motivated to solve the problem. They answered all my questions, are easy to talk to and very organized. A great experience.

The entire staff from Dr. Toole to every other doctor, nurse, technician, et al, could not have been more professional, informative, and kind in their care. Kudos! The only criticism, and it's a major one, is the abysmal, inedible hospital food.

I was very impressed with the care and attention to detail through the whole experience. Dr. Ross was very clear and precise in describing the procedure. Both Ashley and Montana, the pre op nurses, were always able to answer my question. The care in the Post Op was outstanding and the nurses there are the best both the 5th floor and 3rd floor are true professionals in every way. Roper is fortunate to have such a dedicated team and it makes a big difference.
