About Dr. J. Matthew Toole, MD
Dr. Toole is board certified in thoracic surgery. He received a bachelor of science from The University of the South (Sewanee) and earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Emory University Hospital and his fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at MUSC.
