HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital

Have been to Trident several times in the past with unsatisfactory experiences. I feel the recent surgery and hospitalization was excellent compared to previous. From check in to check out everyone was polite. Courteous and seemed to care about me and proceedure I was having. The check in staff were great along with the operating staff and of course the irreplaceable nurses that had to do almost every task after surgery. I can't remember the last time I was treated this well at any hospital in the surrounding area. This visit definitely changed how I felt about Trident HCA.

Sunday night I wasn't feeling too well and within 15 min my daughter was calling 911. I live approximately 4 miles from Trident Hospital. I want to make it very clear..... this hospital took very good care of me. I was in ICU for four days and not once did I want for anything. If I pressed the call button they responded within a minute or two. They told me everything they were going to do and made sure that I understood. I loved every Doctor and nurse that helped me. If I could give them 10 stars I gladly would. Thank you for saving my life..... for the second time this year. To me this is one of the best hospitals I have ever been in. Thank you for helping me Esp Dr Lessor, Hannah, Brady, & several other ICU nurses but most of all to the charge nurse, Tiffany, who allowed my daughter to bring in my Servicedog Just to make me feel more comfortable. -Elaine Babson

Not what I expected. I have been here in Rooms 331 and then 203 since 11/22/2025. The nutrition staff are not good at all and very rude. You are drugged up and can't even remember who you are. I had the worst experience ever. Everyone stays on their phones and pay attention to no one. I have asked over and over for results of MRIs and other procedures and also of why I getting pills for things I don't know about. Why does it take so long to get answers? I am so over it and trying to go home. I came to Charleston from Eastover SC and got sick down here. Not an ideal situation.

Excellent Nurses, Doctors,Therapists and administrators staff were excellent on 6th Floor. Overall a Great experience. Thank You for Taking Good Care of my Wife and making our Family feeling welcomed. The Food was also great. You All should be proud to have such caring and compassionate people!

My birth team was amazing, especially Jess my nurse. My IV was one of my bigger concerns and I didn't even bruise where the IV was inserted. That's a first for me and I have 4 kids. My team also helped me breathe and know when to push, followed everything on my birth plan. They helped me get into different positions and stepped in when they could see my energy getting low.
