Overall I am sad angry and confused by the way I was discharged from your facility. I was told with certainty that I had suffered a heart attack and it was alluded to that it could have been more than one since I had 4 identical episodes. Yet my discharge papers say "chest pain" and do not mention heart attack at all. It stated that I can resume my normal diet which for all you know could be greasy fried fast food. I was not told what to do if I have another heart attack or what kind of activity I can or can't do. I am 36 and terrified because I was given no guidance. I called Dr. Thomas's office for help and his nurse was both unkind and un helpful. I told her my concern and that I do not know what I'm supposed to do in these 6 weeks I have to wait and she told me I just need to talk to my pcp. That is not a sufficient. Your team should be embarrassed and I can only pray that nothing happens to me in the time that it takes me to get an appointment.
