Dr. McIlvaine was my internest during her residency at BIDMC in Boston. I have occasionally searched for her to see where she ended up after her residency and I am thrilled to see she is doing cardiology in Providence. She was the best internist I've ever had, as a resident and after a very serious health scare (which included multiple cardiac arrests). While I can't speak to her cardiology skills, I can confidently tell you she is a thorough and thoughtful doctor who advocates for her patients. I wish her the best of luck!

Today was my initial appointment at the East Greenwich Cardiovascular Institute today. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Dr. McIlvaine, and could not be happier with the care I received. She was compassionate, professional, and knowledgeable in her field. She asked lots of questions and carefully listened to all of my responses. The concerns I had written down were all addressed before leaving. I felt completely heard, and was very comfortable with the upcoming plans for testing and treatment options. Dr. McIlvaine was very empathetic to my situation, and so genuinely encouraging about the lifestyle changes I have implemented. Everything was explained to me in a way I could understand, and I was given plenty of office time to make sure anything important was gone over.
