Patient
The woman I saw today was incredibly rude. I have memory issues and I'm autistic, so when she told me something and I asked if she could write it down for me, she gaped at me for a moment and went "It's very simple." I stared back at her in disbelief, and I go, "Yes, I have memory issues." She kind of rolls her eyes, leaves the room, and comes back. When I apologized to her and clarify once again, that I have memory issues, she rolls her eyes again, cuts me off, and continues explaining the monitor to me. She didn't even give me her name. If a patient asks you to reiterate or write something down no matter how simple it might be in your own head, it's probably not for no reason!
