Dr. Asprey saved my life. Ran the tests. Followed up. Listened. Diagnosed accurately and customized therapies based on me, the individual. And she'll let you have it if your screwing up.
Her serious professionalism is emblematic of her dedication to promoting good health for her patients and is clearly driven by compassion for everyone's well being.

Although I found Dr. Aspry's clinical skills to be fine, my initial experience of her bedside manner was very poor. I could barely see her on the other side of the computer cart she stood behind the whole time. I had to interrupt her berating me for not coming in sooner to clarify that it was her office which had twice rescheduled my appointments resulting in a delay of several months. The problem with this sort of passive aggressive approach is that it puts people off and makes them less willing to engage, which means appointments are neither patient-focused nor efficient.

I strongly advise against seeing Dr. Karen E. Aspry if you need a cardiologist. After waiting a couple of months for my appointment, I was frustrated when she switched to a telehealth consultation. I left work for the appointment, only for her to call two hours late. During the call, she began discussing lab results that weren't even available in my patient portal, making it difficult for me to engage in the conversation. Afterward, I spoke with the office manager about my concerns and was advised to schedule an in-person visit. Unfortunately, my experience didn't improve. During the appointment, Dr. Aspry seemed unfocused and repeatedly referred to prior visits that never occurred, despite my attempts to correct her. She also struggled to explain my test results and insisted I undergo another test, which I had completed three weeks earlier.
Overall, I felt my time was wasted, and I left without clear answers or a sense of care. I recommend finding a different cardiologist who genuinely cares about their patients

No one EVER picks up the phone. Hold time was estimated at "2 minutes". It's been 27 minutes and counting...

If you want to feel that you are getting attention for cardiac issues, Dr. Aspry is not who you should be seeing. After a heart attack, I was assigned to her care. She did not listen to me when I asked a question or when I responded to her questions. She canceled appointments, stating that she would reschedule and never did. She enrolled me in 2 studies and never followed through with any information or further contacts. Calls to her office were met with apology after apology by her staff. I have a new cardiologist; one who cares about his patient.
