Thomas Lanna

I'm glad I was/am a patient of Dr. Lanna. Everyone who works there was friendly and caring, and Dr. Lanna is a great guy. He's easygoing and makes sure all your bases are covered. My first appointment with him was a "follow-up" for a couple tests that hadn't even been done yet, because my PCP forgot to send the orders. Dr. Lanna took it upon himself to get it all sorted out. He set me up with appointments for both tests (in-house) and I finally got them done. The technicians who did them were very friendly and made sure I was comfortable. At my real follow-up, Dr. Lanna came in the room with a smile and was happy to give me some good news - that everything looked good, and my heart is healthy. Heart issues run in my family, and it's something that caused me anxiety for a long time. Dr. Lanna's treatment/management, along with his positivity, plus the whole team in the building, have given me peace of mind, and I'm so thankful. I almost never write reviews like this, but I felt like I had to because of how good my experience was. I'd recommend him to any/everyone who's dealing with cardiac problems or concerns. Thank you Dr. Lanna!

Dr. Lanna is highly compassionate and vastly experienced. As his other patients will no doubt attest, Dr. Lanns's medical instincts are second-to-none. To his further credit, Dr. Lanna has put together a great group of gracious and responsive nurses and support staff.

Not sure why I was given an appointment. Dr Lanna had no intention of taking me on as a new patient. He knows the dr who I was planning on leaving and said to stay with him. What was the point of having me come in? He insisted I'm better off keeping drs that are in one place. That is a decision for the patient to make. For me, location is part of it. Dr Lanna was personable as was the staff and it was a disappointment being rejected. Transportation-wise, Westerly is much easier for me to get to. Again, what was the point of having me come in?

Met with Dr Lanna for the first time today He took the time to ask and answer numerous questions that helped him evaluate my condition I was very comfortable with his ability to analyze my condition and make the correct recommendations

Dr Lanna is an excellent doctor. Always listens, gives clear answers to my questions. Very professional and easy going plus he knows quite a bit about the heart to say the least.
