WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital Emergency Department

We are very happy with the results of visiting the Waynesboro Emergency Room last evening. Dr. Hoffman saw us and my son thinks the world of her- she stitched him up in no time, was very calming and reassuring and he said, "if we have to go back to an emergency room let's not go to the (insert name) usual one let's go there, it didn't hurt at all!" As a caregiver, I felt listened to, concerns were addressed and treatment was immediate-thank you In the past, anytime we have gone to the emergency room here we have been satisfied as well. We will start using this one more routinely. The first one we attempted to go to this evening, I am fairly certain we would have still been waiting to see someone in the same amount of time he was stitched and discharged. Their timeliness and ability to attend to his needs was appreciated.

Not happy with doctors here at all. My boyfriend got shocked to the heart multiple times while at work. Doctors ran test and sent him off home no bloodwork or anything. Doctors did not take this seriously at all. Very unsatisfied. Wait was long and took 40 mins to be seen for a hour and a half wait. Extremely ridiculous.

Dr. Rosanna Pau was horrible & so was the nurse i saw today. She spoke to me like i was an idiot, and followed up with "so what do you want me to do" & just continued to act like i was dumb. Terrible experience. Awful doctor. This is only getting two stars soley bc Dr Rubenstein was AMAZING when i was seen on Friday, if it weren't for him, there would be one star soley bc i have to.

I woke up with severe shoulder pain this morning unrelieved by conservative treatments. I had a history of rotator cuff tear years back and decided to go this ER to have a possible evaluation and treatment of what's going on. I came in tears but the front desk receptionist was efficient. Nurse Sarah was compassionate and took my vital signs and brought me to my bed. I was waiting there moaning and crying for almost an hour without any blanket to keep me warm so I used my coat to cover me. Then Nurse Liz introduced herself as my nurse and interviewed me but she doesn't seem to care in her demeanor, I mentioned to her that I would like an MRI done to further evaluate & compare my MRI in 2021. Dr. Rosanna Pau came in while I was talking with Liz about the MRI and maybe a possible cortisone shot to help relieve the pain. Without introducing herself the doctor exclaimed saying that "We don't do MRI for shoulder here, and we don't give cortisone shot!" Then the doctor quickly look at my arm and I asked her, " Are you okay Doc, you sound upset." She then said, "We'll do X-ray!" then she left. The X-ray tech, Beth was also very nice and sympathetic. Overall, if I can help it, I won't be back nor recommend this ER.

These people stopped my pain and suffering caused by CVS failing to fill a script for 5 hours and 15 mins. Staff is great and very fast. IM SO GRATEFUL, I'm in tears as I type this. Thank you, my friends. Dr. Shirk was amazing. Many hospitals get bad reviews from documented drug abusers not getting their demanded "fix". I believe that to be the case here.
