About Dr. Vijay K. Gulati, MD
Vijay K. Gulati, MD, is a general cardiologist and interventional cardiologist certified in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from Tufts University and completed his residency at UPMC, followed by fellowships in echocardiography, cardiovascular diseases, and interventional cardiology at UPMC. Dr. Gulati joined the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute in 2002. His main clinical interests include the evaluation and management of acute coronary syndromes and chronic stable coronary disease, as well as the evaluation and management of the broad spectrum of cardiovascular diseases. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology.
