Olga Shabalov, MD, is a cardiologist certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in nuclear cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. She received her medical degree from the Latvian Medical Academy and completed her residency and fellowship at UPMC Shadyside, where she also served as the chief medical resident. Dr. Shabalov lives in Pittsburgh's East End with her husband and French bulldog. Her parents and both of her grown children reside nearby. She is an avid hiker who can frequently be found on the trails of Frick Park. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She is fluent in the Russian language.
