About Dr. Mark Schmidhofer, MD
Mark Schmidhofer, MD, is a cardiologist and is certified in cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is the medical director of the Coronary Intensive Care Unit at UPMC Presbyterian and is a professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, and completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and his cardiology fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital. Dr. Schmidhofer's clinical interests include critical care cardiology and general cardiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology. He lives in Squirrel Hill with his wife and is a beekeeper.
