Magee-Womens Heart Program

I immediately knew I was in the best care within 3 minutes of arriving at the office; I was welcomed and treated with the upmost respect. All of the staff were excellent communicators- from the cardiac technician, to the physical fellow, and especially Dr. Katie. What I especially liked is that I was able to ask questions and never felt rushed. Dr. Katie is the best.

I have had a couple of appointments and a test done here so far. I was very impressed at how thoroughly I was questioned and examined. Any questions I sent in the app were answered right away with lots of detail and the nurses are super helpful. I feel confident that my cardiac issue is in the right hands. Thank you.

I was at UPMC cardiologist center for the first time. A VERY positive experience!! On time. No waiting. The nurse was so polite and told me what she was going to do every step of the way. The Doctor was also very polite and thorough. No rushing and very down to earth. Such a pleasant experience. Thank you for caring.

My experience at the Magee Women's Heart Program was fabulous. The medical tech who obtained my vitals signs was awesome! She was so personable. Dr Berlacher and Dr Ato were so very kind and considerate. They extensively explained my test results and my treatment plan. Both doctors spent extended time with me and answered all my questions in detail. I could have not had better care. I appreciate the doctors expertise and certainly their compassion for helping me. I have worked in health care for over forty years and I have been side by side with many physicians. Dr Berlacher and Dr Ato are true professionals, who are really care about their patients. I made an appointment to see a cardiologist but instead I only saw her physician assistant. The cardiologist was going to aggressively follow my condition. The physician assistant did not show much concern for my issues. I will find another cardiologist.
