Joshua Levenson, MD, is a cardiologist and is certified in internal medicine and cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan Health System, followed by a cardiology fellowship at UPMC. Dr. Levenson joined the Heart and Vascular Institute in 2017. His clinical interests include cardio-oncology and cardiac imaging, including echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He focuses his non-clinical time on local quality and patient safety improvement within UPMC, and is the physician champion for the venous thromboembolism system-wide improvement campaign.

Dr Levenson become my Cardiac Doctor a few years after my 2013 Heart surgery. From our first meeting I knew I was in the best hands possible. He had away of making you feel at ease but yet knowing he had your best interest at heart. He told me he was interested in my current health of course but wanted to help me to a Long term Healthy Life.
