Dr. Waheed is in my opinion a very thorough and thoughtful cardiologist. He always takes the time to explain anything I ask about.
He is IMO appropriately aggressive about treating my heart issues and was quick to refer me to an electro physiologist when my CHF turned into AFIB.
His staff and associates are very responsive and involved in care giving as well.
I left my prior cardiologist because I felt like an insurance policy number to be billed against. Dr. Waheed cares deeply about his patients.

Worst group of cardiologists I've ever seen or heard of It took them a month of being in the hospital to swallow their pride. And admit they did not have the knowledge to be able to handle my a fib No I have to start all over again Because they released me with no care. I can't walk or stand without my pal's going over 200 now I have to try Jefferson and hope for the best and I recommend avoiding this doctor if you care for your loved ones life

When Dr Waheed was with St Clair, he completely missed an LCX obstruction even though I told him I was in pain on a treadmill test. I could have died. Months later, I had a heart attack. Had it not been for a 2 nd blood test, I would have been misdiagnosed again! Apparently this is a too common failure of USA hospitals. Beware!
