Somehow, all the stars lined up on March 31, 2023 that I had Dr Thossani assigned to do my ablation surgery that day. From an amazing bedside manner right before the procedure, to the amazing work he did, to all of the excellent follow-up care I received from both him and from his staff, it has been one of the best medical encounters I've ever had. Aside from one episode of atrial flutter 3 weeks after the surgery, I have been arrhythmia-free. Just an amazing Dr. And practice and he's exactly why AGH is where you want to be for heart issues in Pittsburgh.

I have been diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation and Atrial Flutter. I am allergic to all the medications for these diagnoses. I am from a small town and the Electrophysiologists had done 3 ablations for the Atrial Fib with 1 cryogenically for the Atrial flutter. However, I continued to have the Atrial Fibrillation. That is until I saw Dr. Thosani. He did 1 Ablation and inserted a new loop recorder and I haven't had any more episodes bad enough to go to the hospital for. Praising God for him and the Allegheny Electrophysiology department @ Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
