I called this cardiologist's office hoping to schedule an appointment, and the way I was treated was surprisingly rude. I simply asked when the doctor might be available, and the staff member shut me down immediately. She recommended a different doctor. She said that who I asked for wasn't available now, not available later, and that his calendar was already "not available" for January 2026. The tone made it sound like I shouldn't even bother trying again. What bothered me most was how dismissive she was. It left me wondering if I was being brushed off for a reason I'll never fully know. I'm an immigrant, and the interaction left me feeling like I didn't matter as a patient. Whether the doctor is excellent or not, the front office is the first point of contact. And if this is how they treat someone simply trying to make an appointment, I can't trust them with something as important as my heart health.
