Cardiology Consultants

Dr Mercier is a great cardiologist however he recently moved his office to Powell Street. I had a 2:00 appointment and arrived about 10 minutes early and was told to have a seat. I just happened to ask if the doctor was running on time, and I was told no, he's about 2 hours behind. Are you kidding me?! No one from the office called me and offered me the chance to change my appointment nor was this information given to me when I checked in. If I hadn't asked, I would not have known. Another couple who had been waiting over 45 minutes already had a 1:45 appointment and they overheard the conversation. They too were not very happy. I told the receptionist that I was not going to wait and I had no intentions of rescheduling with this practice at this office. Interestingly, had I been more than 15 minutes late or not showing up I would have been charged a fee. It's unconscionable to treat patients in this manner.

Dr Belber has been treating me and my family for over 30 years. I could not be happier with his care and concern for me and my well being. My appointments are never more than a 10 minute wait max. And Dr Belber is extremely thorough, he does not rush and answers every question we have. You will not find a better skilled and compassionate cardiologist !!

A true professional yet down to earth Doctor. He answers all my questions. Very knowledgeable. Highly recommend him.
